Sir Albert Miller L.V.O., M.B.E., Q.P.M., C.P.M.
Sir Albert Miller was born in Long Island, Bahamas. In 1976, he
became President of The Grand Bahama Port Authority and was also
appointed Co-Chairman in 1998. In March 2003, Sir Albert retired
from GBPA, and was persuaded to return as Chief Executive Officer
in June 2006.
Sir Albert joined the Royal Bahamas Police Force in 1943 where he rose to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police in 1968 and acted as Commissioner of Police on five separate occasions.
